The Howie Chronicles

I am currently enjoying sharing life with Howie. Howie is a Morgan gelding, about 16 hands, 5 years old and training to be a hunter. But, honestly, all he really needs to do is be my friend. Howie is everything a Morgan is supposed to be. He is kind, willing and so happy to please. He is such a joy to be around and is the favorite horse in the barn where I board. He just makes you smile. He is a character and a challenge at times, but he also loves children and dogs and readily puts his head down to be petted by the children and sniffed by the dogs. He is everything I was looking for and never thought I would find again. I went through a few horses, some very nice horses, but they weren't the right horses. Howie is MY HEART HORSE. And I have been blessed, twice, as he is my second. Those of you that have or have had a heart horse or dog, understand what I mean. Once you experience that bond, you never want to be without it.
