Howie had a visit from the Chiropractor and I am jealous. First, I take better care of him than I do of myself, but, I haven't been able to get to the barn since he was adjusted so I don't know if it helped or not! I went to Florida for a week. I also show my dog, a whole 'nother story, so it's been quite busy again lately. Howie is so expressive, the chiro docs love him. He will tell you exactly where it hurts and exactly when you have it fixed. I love to watch him. He will literally put whatever body part in the person's hands and say here, right here it hurts. Too cute. And then, when it is fixed, he gets this happy, glazed look in his eyes, lowers his head and licks his lips. We even had a few big long sighs of contentment while he was being worked on. It has to be rewarding for the person working on the horse, to see such a signal that what you are doing is appreciated. Everyone needs positive feedback, we're just wired that way.
