How do you know? When do you know? Do you know? The time has come to move on to another horse? It always takes me way too long. I don't give up easy. I'll willing to deal with something unwanted to have something else that is important. But that's life isn't it? You rarely get everything you want. But, there are times when it is in your, and probably your horse's, best interest, to just move on. Perhaps someone else would get alone better, find that magic button, that would unleash the horse you know is lurking, somewhere, under there, if only you could reach him. I finally let go of the last one, thankfully, because it led me to Howie. I hope, truly, that he is enjoying his new home. But I am glad he is no longer mine. Which brings me to the current situation. My current lesson includes a lovely young lady that rides a young horse that is just a bad thinker. Bad, bad, bad. I mean really, he will reach around and bite her in the shin if he gets angry. There is just no place for this. As we say in the shaky-tail world, he would be praying for mercy. I rather think this horse needs to go down to road. Somewhere with someone that can teach him to be respectful and a valuable member of society, before someone gets hurt. There are just too many nice horses in the world, don't let them pass you by. Find your Howie.
